Here's the thing.
I can't really type that well cause my muscles are still all shaky jello...because I have committed myself to doing Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred. Today was day 2. It's hard, people. It seems easy..but it's hard and she's harping in your ear about how 400 pound people can do this and if you can't do this then you clearly don't want it and don't you dare stop moving.

Anyways.
Dinner yesterday and today had to be easy...so I made the same thing. It turned out super delicious, which is why I made the same thing. (remember, if something's yum, I want to eat it all the time). So...
Asian Lettuce WrapsThis is a non-recipe recipe. Last night I used tri-tip, tonight I used pork shoulder, cause that's what I had. I grilled it in my handy dandy grill pan with bottled teriyaki sauce and sliced it, then returned it to the pan and added a handful of bean sprouts and water chestnuts.

I separated a head of iceberg lettuce, and chopped green onions and peanuts. Hoisin sauce was also on the side - hoisin sauce makes my dreams come true, it is so good.
Too easy and somewhat healthy, right? Maybe? Ms. Michaels?

That Jillian is brilliant and terrifying. I've seen that book. and I wondered if it worked for people or not. Is it an exercise plan or what?

I started the shred and had to stop because I couldn't walk down the stairs from my apartment to my car for work after 4 days--she is HARDCORE. So kudos. Keep with it. =]
DUDE!!!! i am here to attest this video wurks! i have it too but uhhh....ha yeah have yet to do it more than twice because it stinks! i was so sore i could barely focus on anything outside of hurting limbs...but my ma is doing it and texts me daily about her progress (b*tch please i don't want to hear it) hahaha...just kididng! so all i have to say is GO GABBY GO!!!!
and those lettuces wraps look like divinity...please come make me some...

oh my gosh i saw these wraps at costco and i didn't want to buy them because i knew they were so easy to make, but now i have the recipe!

YUM! I made some lettuce wraps the other night as well that were Delish! As for Jillian, she scares the hell out of me. I want to do this dvd, but don't actually have the space in my tiny apt. Perhaps I have lucked out in that sense...but good luck & let us know how it goes! You're gonna do great!

Sounds delicious and yes, I think it is probably healthy. Teriyaki isn't bad for you and neither are any of those other things. So eat it Jillian! :)

life is so unfair why do I have to kill myself with workout??!! I prefer to walk (I walk everywhere office shopping .. ) or use my bike and swim a lot, I hate to sweat to swim is the perfect choice!!

2. As painful as that muscle hurting, shaky feeling is, I LOVE IT! It is my body telling my mind that something is working!! Its better than attempting to work out for however long and the next day waking up good as new!
