summer resolutions

I'm jumping the gun, I know.

It's technically not summer. The weather is hardly summer-ish. June barely started. I haven't bought flip flops yet and people are posting on Facebook right now that it's raining.

But still.

These are my summer resolutions. Why not have resolutions midway through the year? I think it's a fabulous idea. Get on board.

*lots of strawberry beer. become a fine tuned connoisseur of strawberry beer.

*at least 1 road trip. remember last year when I went to Vegas 6 times? Yeah. Me too. Go somewhere, in a car, with music and snacks and friends. Doesn't have to be Vegas, necessarily. I'm open.

*outdoor concerts. a must.

*accept the fact that I'm just never going to be a hippie, bohemian girl. I'm just not.

*continue to try to braid my hair in different ways before undoing it with heavy, dramatic sighs.

*make plans and keep them. only say yes when I really mean it and say no sometimes. {always a gabby resolution, not seasonal}

*get reservations to Ludo Bites, even if I have to hit redial for hours. Also go to Umami, Mozza, and track down the Grilled Cheese Truck.

*continue work day walks in order to balance out above resolution.

I resolve to do all these things and more.

Summer, hurry up.
