a DIY for the uncrafty

It's just not the holidays without breaking out the glue and trying to get crafty, a la Martha. Am I right? {i'm right}
But although some of the DIYs on Pinterest are amazing...I am just not that crafty.
So I went the easy, sparkly route.
Glittered pine cones.
Yes. I know. You're like...that's it?
Yep.
But they're super pretty and easy and you will feel accomplished.

I didn't want the entire pine cone to be covered with glitter. I wanted some brown showing through, but that is up to you.
I simply painted each pine cone 'leaf' with tacky glue and sprinkled on fine glitter.
Sit until dry, obviously.
I have mine on a few cake plates in my living room.

Not too bad, right?
A craft for the uncrafty.

{if you're looking for a more involved Christmas craft,
may I suggest my yarn wreath?
i am still reeling from that high.}
Kmart coupons are always available for craft supplies.

My friend and I had a Black and White Christmas party last year, and we spray painted pinecones black and then sprayed silver glitter on top of the black. They looked awesome! :) I love easy crafts that look amazing! Merry merry, my dear!

I am totally uncrafty . . . but I think I could manage this! Thanks for the idea. I've seen people do neat things with pinecones. Problem is, I'm not sure I can find any pinecones in SF! They're all over the place in Georgia--ha.
